Lord I thank You

For waking me up this morning.

For the sun that warms me,

for the earth’s harvest

that nourishes me,

for the water

that quenches my thirst.

For Your words of inspiration.

For the beauty of music

that helps to uplift my soul,

and for the child

whose laughter reminds me

to see the lighter side of life.

I thank You for all of the people

who cross my path…

to lend a helping hand,

to share a random smile.

to inspire me by example,

or to challenge me to grow.

But most of all, thank You Lord,

for your wondrous power

that feeds my soul.

Help me to count

All my blessings from You

Each and every day.  Amen.
