We must remember that when we become Christian, it doesn’t mean that we will live on a perpetual high, but in the midst of all circumstances God’s grace, joy, and peace are there. The tears will come, the pressures will be felt, and so will the temptations. But there is a new a new direction, and a new power in life to face the circumstances in which you live. Many times we make the mistake of trying to use faith to get to the place where we have total freedom from trouble. What we do not realize is that the purpose of faith is not always to keep us from having trouble; it is often to carry us through trouble. If we never had trouble, we would never need faith. Be confidence to ask God for what you want and rest in the knowledge that if it is right, He will bring it to pass at the right time. If it is not right, He will do something much better than what you asked for, but be sure if this “if you ask” He will answer.
