In our distresses in life, trust God, leave room for Him to work, for the Lord has promised to fight for us. We should not be agitated, should not be beside himself, should never be in a condition in which he has lost. … It implies a lack of trust and confidence in Him.” Search out this truth in Scripture, and you’ll discover it’s one of the truths the Lord most often repeats. Here are some examples:
“Do not be terrified. … The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1:29-31).
“All this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).
“If God is for us, who can be against us? … In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:31, 37).
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart” (Proverbs 3:5).
