A lot of times, partial obedience is what’s keeping us from God’s best in our lives. We hold on to things that we know are not God’s best. It’s not worth it. We need to be willing to change. Ask God like David to create a clean new heart every morning and renew a loyal spirit in you. That He will be the one to change you. We need to live in obedience and integrity. God is our priority. The bible says we will be blessed in the city and in the country. He is telling us these are the “Blessings for Obedience”.  It is not about us anymore it is Him all over; our number one priority is Him. When we are obedient proves that we are stewards of the good things God has given us. Obedience isn’t developed when everything is easy. No, obedience is developed when you keep doing the right thing even when it’s difficult. I realize the pain of change can be difficult, but the pain is staying the same is even more difficult. “…do not participate in the things people do. For once you were full of darkness but now you have the light from the LORD. So live as people of light” (Ephesians 5:8). One thing I love about David in the Bible is that he always turned to the Word of God for strength, wisdom and courage; and he was a tremendous example of faithfulness. When you decide to be obedient isn’t easy. But, when we meditate on “the purpose of our creation”. When you get that vision in your heart. You will activate your faith and you will fall in love with God more and more all the days of your life. The moment that we receive Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live in our heart. Our Body becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit helps us live the Christian life and as you live a life of fully obedience, you will prosper in all of your ways and God will make you what He wants you to be. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
