Abraham is known as our father in the faith. God told him that he would be “the father of many nations,” but Abraham was over 90 years old before he ever saw that promise begin to come to pass. But he didn’t consider his body. He didn’t meditate on all the reasons he couldn’t be the father of many nations. Instead, he never wavered in believing God’s promises. He was fully [convinced] that what God has promised He was also able to perform. That’s the way we act in God’s promises. We must change how we trust God, we must meditate day and night in what He said about us, and when we get the revelation honor Him without wavering.

To waver means to go back and forth. Spiritual wavering is when we go back and forth in believing the promises of God. Wavering shows up in our words and actions. When we speak contrary to God’s promises, you are wavering. Take captive every thought and stand strong through your praise and worship! Praise is powerful! Praise is putting your faith in action. Praise makes you stable. It makes you strong. Put your faith in action by thanking and praising God! So you will grow strong in wisdom and knowledge of the Lord.

Abraham knew he served a faithful God, and so he gave all the praise and glory to Him! Scripture says his faith strengthened him and opened the door for God to move mightily on his behalf.

Father, I thank you with all my heart and praise you for Your faithfulness in my life. How amazing are Your deeds. I delight in You LORD.  Thank you Father, because your righteousness never fails. Thank you for remind me Your wonderful works. I choose to receive Your Word. Help me LORD to keep my heart focused on You and to remember how gracious and merciful is our LORD! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
