The process of waiting involved a process of changing. We must deal with the light, so don’t be afraid of the light. God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all. The light of God exposes things. When the sun rise in the morning and we see the light, we are able see every dirt, we can see all things that we tried to hide, and we are able to see things you may prefer not to look at. When God’s gets involved in our lives He makes sure that we are able to see everything we are hiding. We are frequently deceived, especially about ourselves. We prefer not to deal with our faults because we may feel condemned about them. Anything hidden has power over us. “Even Death and Destruction hold no secrets from the LORD. How much more does he know the human heart!” (Proverbs 15:11).

Somehow we have a new desire to change. In order to do it we must lean on God completely. As we go through the process we learn to do what is right, what it is just “If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise” (Proverbs 15:31) “If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding” (Proverbs 15:32). The process of changing involved love and as we go through, we must have no doubt that God is love, that He loves us, and that we are following God’s His will for us. With no doubt He is changing us little by little. Every morning ask God to create in us a clean new heart and renew a loyal spirit within us. Reading, studying, meditating and obeying His word “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners or join in with the mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night” (Psalm 1:1–2).  Get your new “want to” align with God’s will for you. Learn to recognize the difference between the desires of your flesh and the desires placed in you by the Holy Spirit.

In the process of waiting for a promise we should Praise and thanks God that the answer is on the way! It is very challenging and it could be very confusing especially if we are not doing it with our complete heart or if we are using wrong motives. “Fear of the LORD teach wisdom; humility precedes honor” (Proverbs 15:33). Do it with the right motives, and most important with God’s guidance that always lead you to the best path He has for you. But we have to believe in that; and we have to live for that. We will never get to experience all the joy and fulfillment that God’s has for us if we are not passionate about what we are doing, and if that “New Desire” in our hearts is not align with God’s word “It is good for the workers to have an appetite; and empty stomach drives them on” (Proverbs 16:26). We must be ready to be change and transform by Him only. “The LORD detests the way of the wicked, but he loves those who pursue godliness” (Proverbs 15:9)
