“We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds”. (Titus 2:12-14). If we meditate on what’s wrong with others, we do not have time to see what it is wrong with ourselves. We see even more flaws and faults on other than ourselves. But when we concentrate on God’s Word, light comes into our souls, when we spend the time meditating on His word and in fellowship with Him, what a difference that’s make in our lives. Promptly, we can see that we are growing, we are more mature, kinder, we can give love, and we are totally different.  When our mind remains focused on “what’s wrong with others”, we become consumed by that “We got it wrong” instead concentrate on God’s Word and allow it to fill your thoughts; we will push away all desire to sin or to displease God in any way. We become more deeply rooted in Him. Eugene Peterson’s paraphrase in The Message: “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Mother Teresa said, “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” She also, said “Words which do not give the light of Christ increase the darkness.”
